Description - Cinnamon Extract is an extract from cinnamon spice which itself is obtained from the inner bark of the cinnamon plant. It is currently being studied for its effects on Diabetes, Cancer, viruses, Alzheimer's Disease and Arthritis. The Plant: Cinnamomum height: an evergreen plant that grows to 10-15m tall; leaves: ovate-oblong in shape, 7–18 cm; flowers: loosely-branched flower-cluster with greenish color; fruit: a 1cm berry of purple color; bark: the inner bark is the source of cinnamon spice.
